Buddy Poppy Campaign

Let’s remember Our Troops overseas and our veterans at home in the VA Hospital that are in need! Yes, "Our Troops" are doing their sworn duty for our country, but they can’t always get the basic hygienic items we at home take for granted, and many of our older veterans here at home are in need of these basic items while at the VA Hospital.

The Buddy Poppy campaign has been very successful so far! Currently, this year we have had six campaigns, held in April, May and July at the Wal-Mart in Winchester and Mt Sterling. Our thanks and thanks from our service members overseas and the veterans at the VA hospital to those shoppers at the mentioned Wal-Mart locations and our special thanks to Wal-Mart for their donation in helping our cause for the troops.

Through your donations and ours at the Post. We have made up over 120 care packages for our men and women "Over There." Your donated items or money is greatly appreciated by Our Troops past and present. You can make a donation at one our campaign drives, usually at held in front of Wal-Marts in Winchester or Mt. Sterling.  Call the Post for our next campaign drive or you can send in a money donation by mail or drop by your donated items at the Post. See the "Contact Page" for directions
